2008 ASMI Sales & Marketing Awards

The ASMI Sales & Marketing Awards are designed to honour manufacturers who excel in the sales and marketing of their products. They recognise Quality Use of Medicines (QUM), innovation, marketing and sales best practice, and consumer focus.

        The 2008 Awards were hosted by Dr John D'Arcy and presented by Senator The Hon. Jan McLucas, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Health & Ageing.

The winners were:

Best New Introduction of a Consumer Healthcare Product: Menevit - Bayer Australia

Best Promotion of an Existing Consumer Healthcare Product: Cartia - GlaxoSmithKline

Best Self Care Program: Canesten - Bayer Australia

Best Sales Force Initiative: Grocery and/or Pharmacy: The Eight Step Call Process - Reckitt Benckiser

Pharmacy Pulse Excellence in Service & Sales Initiatives

These Awards were also presented at the 2008 ASMI Conference.
