Complaints about Advertisements for Therapeutic Products in Australia

All advertisements about therapeutic goods directed to consumers must comply with the Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code.

Anybody can lodge a complaint about advertisements they believe are untruthful or misleading.

Therapeutic goods include medicines and medical devices such as bandaids and bandages, contact lens preparations, condoms, menstrual tampons and pads, and diagnostic kits for pregnancy, ovulation, blood glucose monitoring.

There are 2 ways to submit complaints:
• by mail to The Central Complaints Mail Box, PO Box 764, North Sydney NSW 2059
OR
• electronically by using the online complaint submission form.
